Calliope is a t-shirt that is knit from the bottom up, in 3 x 1 rib. We knit the bottom of the body in the round up to the armholes, then the front and back separately back and forth. The shoulders are joined with 3 needles.

To knit the sleeves, we pick up stitches around the armholes, we shape the head of the sleeve using a few short rows then we work in the round to the bottom.

TECHNIQUES

Alternate cable cast-on Inclined to the right: with the tip of the right needle, pick up the right strand of the previous row under the next stitch that comes up. Put this strand back on the left needle and knit it.
Leaning to the left: with the tip of the right needle, pick up the left strand of the previous row under the next stitch.

Put this strand back on the left needle and knit it twisted. 2 stitches in 1: knit the stitch once by the front strand, once by the back strand
